How TacNHS celebrates NSTW2019

With a very short notice, still, we had able to celebrate this year's National Science and Technology Week 2019 memorably. This year's theme is "Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development". It aims to promote innovations to attain the crafted sustainable development goals of countries under the umbrella of the United Nations, and Philippines as a member country, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and other agencies including DepEd directed schools to celebrate this week-long activity.  In school, Science Department headed by Mr. Jethro Odoy, the School Science Coordinator and with the helped of the Science Club Officers headed by Jeck Lou Isidor, organized a school-based activity with the different line-up of events, to wit: Poster Making Contest, Essay Writing Contest, Sci-Tech Quiz Show and Moda TacNHS 2019 (Eco Fashion Show). A Friendly Reminder To Students: Your Attitude Can Either Help Or Break You!

Disclaimer: It would be safe for me to say that, yes, teachers may differ in terms of perceptions, assumptions, opinions and whatever it is, I absolutely agree. But this opinion is very personal, taking into account my experiences in the teaching world, interacting different types of personalities of diverse students. Let me start this argument by asking the following questions: 1. Am I sensitive to my students' movements or gestures in class? 2. Do I feel being hated or disliked by the students basing the way they behave? 3. Do I have the tendency to remember the students and hate him/her for a reason of manifesting misbehavior and irritating attitude? 4. What irritates me the most? 5. How will I respond and deal with those kind of students? Hmmm... The questions are tough, but answering these questions would absolutely allow students to ponder and reflect too as I do.
